Rubber compounds for ceramic tile punches

Cergomma, a Company specialised in the production of rubber mixes for moulding ceramic tile punches, manufactures different types of products.

Cer01 compound: is the compound mainly used by mould workshops worldwide, it is known as “traditional frozen rubber”. This rubber, based on polyurethane (polyester, au), is characterized by high abrasion resistance and excellent elasticity that translates into an effective detachment of the clay during the tile pressing. This compound is available with 70 to 100 shore A hardness in various colours.

Cer01 ultrasoft compound: basically the same compound as cer01 (polyester, au), therefore it has the same technical features, but lower viscosity so it allows pressing of the punches  with 30-40% less pressure than the standard cer01. This compound was created to press bigger sized punches. It is available with 70 to 100 shore A hardness in various colours.

Cer 03/c compound: known as “long life rubber” because it is stored at room temperature; it is also a polyurethane rubber (polyether, eu) and was developed for pressing isostatic punches. The main feature of this product is its extreme softness: if applied correctly, it allows moulding of a 30x30 isostatic punch with 60 bar pressure (280 t press). It is available with 85 shore A hardness in green, violet and grey colours.

Cer06 compound
: this compound was developed for the laser engraving technology. Unlike other products, which tend to melt loosing the design definition, cer06 keeps excellent definition of the structure. It is available in 93 shore A hardness in black colour.
