Gamma 75 HD-R

Patented technology, productivity and maximum stability, plus excellent performance on dark shades, with no waste

The new Gamma 75 HD-R provides confirmation of the leadership role played by the South Tyrol company in the area of digital ceramic printers, thanks to a series of exclusive features: latest-generation print heads with patented technology, productivity and maximum stability – plus excellent performance on dark shades, with no waste – and rapid workflow management using cutting-edge software systems. Thirteen Durst Gamma R printers have already been installed in Italy, proof of the unique advantages these new solutions offer for a particularly demanding market.

A more detailed look at Gamma 75 HD-R shows that the model is able to reach a linear speed of 90m/min. for a printing width of up to 70cm, making it faster than any other printer in the world with the same ink lay down. The Dual Line version allows for parallel decoration in two completely independent rows, or on a single row, with an extremely swift change.

Latest-generation print heads with patented technology and FX Module
The most eagerly anticipated new developments, however, are the exclusive print heads with dual ink recirculation developed by Durst with very long automatic cleaning cycles. This technology guarantees high performance, unrivalled productivity, excellent print quality and total stability of the nozzles. Maximum uniformity is also guaranteed thanks to the patented system for the transversal configuration of the print heads and the greyscale technology with variable drop size (from 28 to 90 pl / 4 levels). The new printers, which are incorporated into all the new printers in the “R” series, can also be implemented on all Durst Gamma 75 – 120 printers, including those already installed: a decision in keeping with the Durst philosophy, which aims to safeguard the investments made by customers over time, with technological systems that can be upgraded. This same principle also applies to the new FX Module, which makes it possible to expand the number of colour bars from 5 to 7, with the addition of new effect inks.

Vibrant colours and excellent performance on details
The hallmark feature of Gamma 75 HD-R is the precise, constant inkjet, able to shift from a small to a much larger number of grammes per square metre, at high linear speeds (up to 4 times higher than other systems on the market). This results in vibrant colours, and excellent performance on details that require greater contrast. All with no waste, because Gamma 75 HD-R has been specially designed to use only the amounts of ink necessary, based on the characteristics of the graphics to be reproduced.

5.0 Gamma and Gamma PrepStation Software versions

For the workflow of the printing units, Durst offers a 5.0 software upgrade (a step up from the popular Durst Gamma management software) developed by the company’s R&D Department based on the suggestions and production requirements of customers. This solution not only makes it quicker to upload the files, but also allows for the free selection of the ink in each channel, the calculation of costs for printing orders and exporting the relevant data, as well as an even wider range of random printing options. Using the Gamma PrepStation system, the work required for preparing the files can be carried out centrally and securely, guaranteeing maximum protection of industrial secrecy. The 5.0 Gamma and Gamma PrepStation versions are also compatible with Durst Gamma printers already installed.
