Ceramiche Moma carries out further modernisation work

As part of the extensive renovation and modernisation work undertaken by Ceramiche Moma in the years following the 2012 earthquake, the company has installed three new Industry 4.0-ready connecting lines between the press and dryer at its Finale Emilia plant.
The lines, supplied by the longstanding partner Tecnomec Borghi, include new RUP/BM tile collectors equipped with SPTC/SPTCI cleaning systems and a system of transfer benches interfaced with three different horizontal dryers. In addition to the handling system, the material cleaning system has been expanded with the installation of fixed DM series fettling units on the tile collectors along with blowing and extraction hoods.
