Gigacer spa operates a factory with a production capacity of 1.2 million square metres in the Imola-Faenza ceramic cluster and has 73 employees. It has always devoted particular attention to product quality, workplace safety and environmental sustainability. Right from the outset it used the innovative Continua technology to produce large size tiles and began the production of 120x120 cm porcelain floor tiles in 2007. The same year it also introduced unconventional solutions such as horizontal palletisation (rather than the standard vertical system) and reduced its use of packaging materials to a bare minimum.
