| A conference with the cooperation of Regione Emilia Romagna, Agenzia Polo Ceramico, ISTEC-CNR and Centro Ceramico Bologna Assopiastrelle has taken part in the Italian Construction Technology Platform, an operational organisation consisting of companies, research centres, universities and other organisations that plan and manage technological research and development activities for the building sector in various large-scale areas. It is a key partner in ensuring that these activities are adopted by the competent national and foreign institutions within their respective research and development programmes. The activity of the Italian platform will be coordinated by the analogous European platform, which has long been dialoguing with the European Commission and amongst other things provides important guidelines for the drafting of community calls for tenders. The partners in the initiative are Regione Emilia Romagna, Agenzia Polo Ceramico, ISTEC-CNR and Centro Ceramico Bologna. Introductory remarks were given by Assopiastrelle Chairman Alfonso Panzani, Acimac Chairman Pierluigi Ponzoni and Andil Chairman Catervo Cangiotti. Moderated by Aster Director Paolo Bonaretti, the conference featured addresses by prestigious representatives of the world of industry and research including Vice Chairman of Confindustria for Innovation and Research, Pasquale Pistorio, and the Emilia Romagna Region’s Officer for Production Activities, Duccio Campagnoli. |
