As part of its ongoing commitment to the industry, Assopiastrelle represents and safeguards the legitimate interests of Italian ceramic tile and refractory material producer companies, exploiting its ability to actively influence the political, economic and social decision-making processes. In its role as a trade association affiliated to Confindustria (Italian Employers’ Association), Assopiastrelle also acts as an institutional partner in relations with the public administration and with national and international organisations. The association’s members account for more than 90% of all Italian ceramic tile and refractory material manufacturers. This high degree of representation is a result of Assopiastrelle’s efforts to safeguard the interests of the ceramic industry as a whole, to promote the products and image of Italian ceramic worldwide, and to provide support and guidance to member companies at all levels, including economic aspects, trade union relations, research and innovation. Association membership is a key strength for the entire sector as it allows the efforts of individual companies to be focused into joint actions for developing and consolidating the Italian ceramic industry’s leadership position at a world level. |
